Flottille / Uboot Transfers

a.) Flottille
You are allowed during the campaign to request a transfer to a new flottille following the procedure below.

· You will need to contact BdU and Flottille Kommandant stating the flottille you are requesting and the reason for transfer

· The flottille you are transferring to must have your uboot type in use Not every request is granted and several factors depend on the transfer. (i.e. the
current number of uboote assigned to each flottille)

b.) Uboot
You are allowed to ask for transfers to different uboote, however normally this is not likely to happen because of the limited availability of personnel and uboote.
You will need to contact BdU and Flottille Kommandant stating the flottille you are requesting and the reason for a transfer.

c.) Crew
During the course of your career you will have crew members transferred to other uboote to help spread the wealth of knowledge and experience throughout the
ubootwaffe. All crew member transferred from your uboot must be replaces with “green” crew members. This simulates the rotation of new recruits from training
to veteran crews.

If you are transferred to a new uboot, then you are allowed to take the majority of your crew with you. This will have to be manually set, however you can just
accept the new crew assigned to you.

Uboot Upgrades

As new uboot types become available, you will be able to be reassigned to a newer uboot. You cannot request to be upgraded to a newer uboot. These uboote are assigned by
BdU as they become available.

* Delivery of your Uboot

If you are assigned a new uboot, you must perform a shakedown and delivery cruise. These files are found within the training mission pack you downloaded.
Furthur instructions will be assigned to you at the point of the assignment.

a.) Equipment Upgrades

As new technology becomes available, your uboot will be eligible for new equipment and equipment upgrades. You may request these to your flottille
kommandant an upgrade, however there are usually limited quantities of certain items and are distributed by the flottille commandant as he sees fit.
