1. Selecting a Name for your Captain

It is recommended that you use uboat.net to find a name for use for you WaW Captain. You do not have to use these names, however you do have to use a name that is Germanic. You cannot use names like (Silent Killer, John Killer etc..) it must be a legitimate name or your application will be denied.

Once you have selected a name, you will need to check and make sure it is not used by searching from this Captain Roster Page.

<!> Do not use German Symbols/Characters such as ä or ü as the system has a hard time reading them. Instead, substitute for each character - for example ä = a or ü = u

2. Registering your Captain's Information

Now that you have a name selected, you will need to register your information.

A. Forums

You will need to register an account at our forums using the full commanders name you have selected (i.e. Erich Topp).

It is important that you keep this name consistent with all you do. This means spelling and capitalization. Also remember that if you sign-up using any name format
other than what is described in this document, you will be deleted from the system with no warning or exceptions.
